After recently presenting to you the Marok Basketball of our “4 Elements 4 Icons 4 Basketballs” series, we can now give you an exclusive first look at the second part of the project.

The AIR ball of K1X’s limited artist series of unique basketballs is a colaboration of Frank 151 featuring graffiti legend Stay High 149.

Frank 151 is a rapidly growing cultural icon based in NYC. Its Centerpiece is the Frank Book, a magazine which is capturing the essence of the global urban mindset and lifestyle. The New York-based global media platform is also known for Frank’s Chop Shop – a barber shop providing custom products including excusive New Era Caps. Frank151 is influencing, enhancing and changing generations and cultures worldwide.

Wayne Roberts aka „Stay High 149“ aka „Voice of the Ghetto“ was born and raised in the Bronx (NYC). He is Considered one of the founding fathers and living legend of graffiti writing. As a pioneer, innovator and influencer he has inspired generations of graffiti writers.

For K1X’s limited artist series Frank 151 let Stay High 149 do his interpretation of the element AIR. In order to reflect the lightness of this element the ball was kept very basic and simple. An all white ball made out of high-end pu leather with grey channels and the logos of Frank 151 and Wayne Roberts with silver outline stamped on one side. The legendary “smoker tag” in silver on the other gives this unique basketball its light look and makes it one of a kind.
