Once upon a time, Shawn Kemp was the meanest and most spectacular player on the planet. His eye-popping ups and ruthless authority put the art of dunking onto a whole new level. He ruled the NBA Top 10 Plays of the Week like a monarchy, also thanks to his partner in crime, Gary Payton, who initiated the alley-oop and fed the big fella on every second Sonics break. And that’s how we will always remember the “Manchild” – as an unbelievable athlete who put the bling into the Golden Era. Helluva dude.
