Basketball in Movies – Part 5: “Teen Wolf” (1985)
This one is tricky, because the movie has (almost) become iconic with time. How can you hate on a walkman-wearing, air-guitar-playing wolf, who would later go on to be diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Michael J. Fox’ on-court stunt-double has game but should have been included in the editing too. Watch our favorite wtf-moment in this short clip of MJ’s coming-out – and witness a two-handed layup that miraculously ends up a reverse slam dunk (02:10). Still, “Teen Wolf” must be considered a classic. And those never go out of style.
