The Brighton Summer Madness tournament is looking to bring the heat to Brighton’s famous beach court this weekend, and has been dedicated to the memory of a player who used the beachfront court regularly. Shaun Pinkney, 32, a local basketball player from Hove, died earlier this year.

“We are proud to dedicate this tournament to the life of Shaun Pinkney,” said England Basketball’s Miguel Tello, one of the organisers of the event.

Make sure to stop by when you’re in the area! Photos and videos of the event coming up early next week.

The event was a huge success with over 2000 people attending throughout the day. It was so much more than just a basketball tournament with many different elements of U.E.T being on display.

Pictures and Footage is currently available at although the pro shots and final videos will hopefully be ready in the near future so please stay tuned.

The winter event has already been confirmed and another great opportunity for us to showcase and give back.
