There’s a reason why QUARTIER 206 BERLIN is often listed among the top 10 shopping destinations around the world. The block is known for its high standards and it’s THE spot to shop when in Berlin. This top-shelf boutique only offers the most prominent fashion brands, leading avant-garde designers, up market cosmetics and perfumes, books and interior accessories. It doesn’t get more selective than this. Anne Maria Jagdfeld, the founder and owner of Quartier 206, traveled around the world for months to buy the products for her store. She accomplished her mission in 1997 when the Quartier opened. Today the store is commonly referred to as “the world of style” and it definitely deserves its name thanks to the amazing stock and great interior designed by famous Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, an architectural company from New York.

Our notorious Mk3 sneaker had been out on the fashion blogs and in the mags for quite a while before it even got started. Last Saturday the sneakers were finally released. The super limited (160 per color!) sneakers are now available in a hand full cautiously selected accounts worldwide. Reason enough for us to introduce the most outstanding ones. We’ll start our Mk3 retail tour in the UK and proudly welcome to the K1X fam: PRIMITIVE LONDON. Check the pics and link below to learn more about one of London#s finest in streetwear and fashion. On Wednesday, we celebrated the pre-release of our already legendary K1X DCAC Mk3 sneaker in collaboration with Patrick Mohr at Munich’s finest POOL. Fans, heads, friends & facionadas showed up in masses – amusingly the crowd looked as refreshingly offbeat & audacious as Patrick and our one of a kind sneakers themselves. We didn’t expect anything less for this clash between basketball and high fashion – that’s what happens when urban swagg hits highend flair.
Thanks to everybody who showed up – big shout out to Flo Pop for the great idea to mix Ameretto with K1X Energy – a new drink is born. After yesterdays sneak preview here’s a closer look at the 3rd edition of our K1X DCAC sneaker, remixed by the heralded designer and our good friend Patrick Mohr. Many details including the upper material have been upgraded for this latest issue. The Mk3 was created with premium suede leather in three new color ways: blackberry, petrol and grey. Also the trademark triangles on the quarter piece (de-bossed) as well as the wooden triangles on the tongue accessory (glossy finish) have been upgraded.
The “runway-sneaker”, which was previously (Mk2) sold at Wood Wood (Berlin), 424 Fairfax (Los Angeles) and Sneaker Head (Moscow) among other destinations, features three different looks that can be adapted according to personal preference. The wooden triangle on the shoes’ tongue doubles as an accessory and can also be worn as an amulet. The ankle leather straps can be fixed to the ankle or be worn as a wrist-accessory.
Global release is slotted for Saturday, November 17th 2012. The sneaker will be launched in a pre-release at POOL (Munich) alongside (DJ) Patrick Mohr, (DJ) Cambis, the K1X collective and guests in Munich, Germany on Wednesday, November 14th 2012.

The poacher (“Wilderer”) is a controversial figure – a clandestine hunter who shoots without permission. Sometimes for personal purposes, sometimes for a collective good. The poacher is a dark and secretive character that has transported many myths and legends in Bavaria over the last two hundred years. The Poacher Series was created to depict his romantic outlaw-status. All products appear quite basic at first sight but are riddled with hidden details.
